Exercise I (Groundwork) — Beth S. Butler
This class is offered as a 2 hour workshop throughout the year and is a prerequisite for Exercise II. The class consists of strength training using free weights, resistance bands and your own body weight (calisthenics), yoga and Yamuna Body Rolling (YBR) among other disciplines. The goals of this class are to prepare the student for Exercise II, increase body awareness and range of movement, improve strength and flexibility and reduce tension.

Exercise II — Beth S. Butler
After learning the basics in Exercise I (Groundwork), the student will be ready for this challenging class. Exercise II is a more complex workout with the goals of building on and mastering the movements and ideas introduced in Exercise I (Groundwork). While physically challenging, the student may nevertheless find this class more mentally relaxing as you have already done a lot of the "mental work" in the introductory class.

Healing With The Seasons Series

These workshops are led as interactive, experiential sessions offering suggestions for exercises, diet, and activities for the season and everyday.

Introduction to YBR
Offered periodically throughout the year, Yamuna Zake's Body Rolling (YBR) is a soft, powerful approach to muscle release. Other Services

Acupuncture — Becky Thoroughgood, L. Ac.
Acupuncture is an ancient healing practice that inserts thread-thin, sterile needles into acu-points located on pathways (meridians) of the body to promote the smooth flow of our vital life energy, called Chi. These pathways are responsible for the physical, mental and emotional capacity of every organ and system in the body. For optimum health, energy must flow freely and in the correct strength and quality along these pathways. In illness, the flow of vital energy is impaired resulting in symptoms. Acupuncture treats the whole person to restore the natural flow of energy so health is restored. For more information, call Becky Thoroughgood, L.Ac. at 717-236-4354.
